Hello!

Hello my dear friends from all over the world! This is my special writing, just for you. Now I am at home because I am sooooo sick and I get fever. So I was sent back home by school nurse and that means I have time to write.
I stopped writing after those sentences and went to bed. After a 4-hour sleeping, I really feel better. Now, I can continue.
Today my first month in Norway. I have been here since 14th August. In my first post, which is written in Turkish, I wrote about my first month. Actually, I cannot tell all of my feelings in English; it’s too hard to explain. I really wished that you could understand my first post, but unfortunately… So, I will try to do my best.
Let’s try! I started school on my first Monday, 3 days after I came here and just a couple of hours after I met my host family. First week was good, everyone was so interested about me, they were asking questions about home country, being an exchange student, how do I find Norway, etc. In addition, of course because of the language, school was so boring and meaningless to me. It was complicated and I always had to ask someone about classes. Because I always got lost. My school is too crowded and big. There are hundreds of students and If you see someone on Monday, you cant see the same person during that week. It is possible to notice that the same person is attending to the class, which is next to your class or that person’s locker is just up on yours.
My first weeks just past with a confused mind. Then, I got used to it. However, people got used to me, too. I think I am not interesting anymore. I usually feel alone in class. I have friends in class, but they prefer to speak Norwegian every time (If someone from my class reads that, unnskyld, I love you all but that’s the truth <3). I CAN’T judge someone just because of he/she wanted me to join them and kept talking in Norwegian while I was there. I REALLY CAN’T judge Norwegian culture, it is just a bit rude for my culture in Turkey. But in the camp in Turkey before we left for our exchange year, we learnt that there is no wrong or true, there are just differences. Those differences makes us “US”. So there is no problem for me, it will be PER FECT to be in class when I started to speak Norwegian (actually I started a bit :PPPP)
And I want to tell you about my last week. I met the other exchanges in Vestfold twice that week. That was so good. I like to be with exchanges, because an exchange is only person that can understand me. We met in Tønsberg, we ate Italian pizza (because there were 2 Italians) on Kanalen, in a restaurant called Esmeralda and we climbed up to Slottsfjell (If we translate directly, it means “Castle Hill”) on Tuesday after school. Also, we made host parents get to know each other. We invited them to our home last Sunday for some cake and coffee. That was a great ambience with lots of nationalities. Those days were my best days.
PS: I can’t wait to meet my other exchange friends on “Arrival Camp Part II”. We should rock that hotel again!

Love you all!
We are waiting for our pizzas^^
